Obituary of Abe Nickel

Nickel, Abe - Is now resting in God's care, so dearly loved, so sadly missed, Abe slipped into the arms of Jesus surrounded by his loving family, in the early morning of October 2nd, 2016. God blessed him with 80 years on earth, 55 shared with his loving wife, Fran (Darley). Loving father of Robin (Phil) Thorpe, Laura (Craig) Danielson, David (Suzie) Nickel. Loving Papa of Kailey (Stefan), Lucas (Nadine), Lindsay, Caleb (Julia), Emily (Brendan), Megan (Joel), Faith and Noah. Survived by three brothers and 1 sister. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Abe's life will take place on Wednesday, October 5th, at 11 am, at Calvary Church, 89 Scott Street, St. Catharines. Friends will be received from 10 am to 11 am,, prior to the service. In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimer Society or Heidehof Home would be greatly appreciated. Thank you to all of Abe's many caregivers over the past 4 years at Heidehof.
