Obituary of Mary Leora Crompton

Mrs. Mary Leora Wismer Crompton, 85 of Winston-Salem passed away Wednesday, October 05, 2016 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born in Canada on November 8, 1930 to Philip Henry and Edna Doreen Kennedy Wismer. Mrs. Crompton was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Harvey Crompton; a daughter, Linda Marie Carley; sisters, Helen Rushing and Dorothy Paterson and a brother Philip Wismer. Surviving are her sister Patricia Maddocks and husband Jack, two daughters, Jennifer Balascio and husband Daniel and Carol Ann Quinn and husband Peter; two sons, Walter H. Crompton, Jr. and wife Nancy and Lawrence E. Crompton and wife Doris; twelve grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. A grave side service will be held on Saturday October 22, 2016 at 11am at Maple Lawn Cemetery, St. Catharines. A reception will follow at the Tallman Fireside Room.
