I worked with Betty at Hotel Dieu, she was so kind and caring. Such a wonderful soul. My heart goes out to all her family at this time of such a loss. I now live in Midland and I appreciate the obituary being in the Midland Mirror.

I had the privilege of working at the fireside room with Betty. Her baking was number 1 and enjoyed by so many.
Her eyes lit up when she spoke of her family and all the delightful joys they shared. She also spoke very fondly of her Hotel Dieu days and the wonderful coworkers who stayed friends long after retirement. Betty was a very kind,generous soul and will be missed. Our condolences to the entire Book family

Aunt Betty was always warm and welcoming and incredibly thoughtful. If you had a favorite dish she always made sure it was in plenty when you were around. For me, it was her Christmas pudding with cream cheese sauce. She lavished love on everyone through her hospitality and great food!

Aunt Betty was the sweetest and most kind human being that I was privileged to know! She had amazing talents with cooking and baking and I still use her cheesecake recipe that she shared with me many years ago. Aunt Betty will be deeply missed.
