Donna Graham

Obituary of Donna Marie Graham

Donna Marie Graham (nee Forrestall) passed away peacefully at her home on January 7th, 2024, with her loving family by her side.

She was born March 22, 1946 in Halifax, Nova Scotia to the late Ella and George Forrestall. Predeceased by brothers Peter and Frank.  Moving to Yarmouth, Nova Scotia not long after birth, where she would spend her childhood and adolescent years until she met the love of her life, George Graham. They married and moved to Ontario. Starting in Hamilton, to Grimsby and settling in Beamsville for the last 46 years.

Donna was a homemaker for many years but went into the workforce as a waitress after her kids were grown. It should be mentioned she enjoyed waitressing and talking to people so much she said she didn’t even need the tips. She enjoyed baking for family, friends, events, parties and every reason in between. Donna always dressed to impress and had the dance moves to match. She would also give advice on outfits and accessories to buy and was very serious about having her hair and nails done every six weeks.

As classic car owners, Donna was a member of the Peggy Sue Cruisers and was Membership Secretary for The Hamilton Chapter Studebaker Drivers’ Club for over 15 years. She was actively involved with organising car shows including the Winona Peach Festival. Although, you’d likely find her in the mall shopping with her grandkids while George sat at the cars. Donna also, alongside her dear husband, loved instilling the magic of Christmas in the hearts of everyone they could as they often dressed up as Santa and Mrs. Claus for parties and charity events.

Donna is survived by her husband of 60 years, George, and their three children, Joseph (Leanne), Sherri, and David. Forever remembered by her seven beloved grandchildren, Alexandra, Thomas, Madison, Hannah, Fletcher, Zoe and Xieran, as well as her two great-grandchildren, Isla and Joseph. She is also loved and remembered by nieces, nephews, and wonderful friends. Donna also deeply cherished her dogs, Lucky and the late Suzie.

Donna deeply cared for the people around her and will be forever missed by each and every one.

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of life is being held at Club Roma, St.Catharines in the Starlight Room on March 3rd 1pm-4pm.
