Obituary of John Heier

HEIER, John - Peacefully, at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Wednesday, January 7, 2015, John Heier, aged 83 years, went to be with his Lord. Loving husband of Florence and dear father of Kathryn (Ken) Siemens, Lori (Brian) Hooper and Wes (Kimberly) Heier. Brother of the late Henry, Anne Penner, the late Frank (John's twin), Frieda Derksen, Laura, Erna, Peter and Art. Also survived by 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. The family will receive friends at the Fairview Mennonite Brethren Church, 455 Geneva Street on Friday, January 9, from 11:30am until 1pm followed immediately by the Funeral Service in the Church at 1pm. Cremation following the service. If desired, memorial donations to Camp Cherith would be appreciated by the family.
