Obituary of Lester Anderson

ANDERSON, Lester Wilmot - Passed away peacefully at age 96, with family by his side at the St. Catharines General hospital on January 8, 2015. Beloved husband of Irma, and loving father of Amy, Sharon (John), Dale (Elizabeth), Melody (Kevin) and Robert; proud grandfather to Paito, Moselle, Caroline, Madelyn, Avvah, Benton, Allison, Abel and Evelyn, and great grandfather to Spencer. He leaves behind his sister, Hermine, and numerous nieces and nephews. Lester served as a missionary, pastor and managing director of the Caribbean Christian Centre for the Deaf in Jamaica. He immigrated with his family to Canada in 1973. The family extends its sincere gratitude to the staff of the Medical/Nephrology 3rd floor at St. Catharines General Hospital for their care. Visitation will be held at the VINELAND CHAPEL of TALLMAN FUNERAL HOMES, 3277 King St, on Wednesday, January 14th from 7 - 9pm. A Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday at 10am with interment following at Victoria Lawn Cemetery.
