Dear Family,
I'm so sorry for your loss. I got to know Kathleen about 40 years ago at Bethesda. I was so surprised that I recognized her obituary and thought I wanted to comment. I was a staff member there at the time. She was this small spirited girl in her 20's . I enjoyed getting to know her.
I pray you may find strength and peace during this process.

PS My brother, Bill Dick, down syndrome, also participated in some programs in Bethesda but now is in Pleasant Manor Long Term Care. He is actually managing quite well with his cerebral palsy and enjoys the activities there. He is younger only 56.
What a great life learning experience to live with loved ones who have special needs. Not always easy but something that builds our character.
