Elmer Alvin Neumann

March 8, 1938 - September 17, 2022

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Elmer Neumann at age 84.  After a brief illness Elmer died unexpectedly at Perth Hospital.

Elmer was a loving husband to Lorna for 18 years.  He was predeceased by his first wife, Mary (née Rogers).  He was the loving father of Laurel (Kevin) and Charlene (Neil); and Lorna’s children Gail (Greg) and Jim. Grandfather to Brooke (predeceased), Emily,  and Erin; and Lorna’s grandchildren, Isaac (Kandesa), Abigail (Matt), and John Morgan.  Great grandfather to Harley, Daisy, and Elaina.  Beloved older brother to Adeline (Roy)(predeceased), Norma (Barry), Don (Lois Ann), Ruth (Dave), Carrol (Roger), and Diane (Dale).

Elmer was a dedicated follower of Christ.  His profession was an airplane pilot and mechanic.  Elmer could fix anything.  He was meticulous at everything he did, whether it was building furniture, cutting the lawn, or renovating or maintaining the house or cottage.  He loved flying, waterskiing, reading the Bible, and spending time with his  beloved wife and his family.  He was a warm and welcoming source of strength for many people.  He will be sorely missed.

A celebration of life will be held at Glenridge Bible Church, 310 Scott Street, St. Catharines, Ontario on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at 2:00 pm.
