Anne - we are both socked and deeply saddened to read of Mikes passing and extend our heartfelt condolences to you and your families. We will remember Mike for the endless hours and his love of the sports to which he unselfishly dedicated his time in coaching or assisting youngsters in our community. His very dry sense of humour was unmatched and we consider ourselves lucky to have had him touch our lives. May fond memories of times shared offer you some peace and comfort in the days that lay ahead.

Although you may never understand WHY this happened, we trust you can still find comfort in knowing he is no longer suffering and also knowing you have thousands of memories for you and family to share.
My sympathies to Ann and the family at this time. Mike and I met in 1980 when he had just begun his career in accounting. He remained my business and personal accountant until I moved to BC in 2002. I have many fond memories of my friendship with he and Ann over the years. I know he will be sadly missed by all who knew him. A bright light has gone out in many lives, but the glow will remain for ever.
Mike was an excellent advisor on tax issues and will be greatly missed.
